Being world number 1 for 237 consecutive weeks bukan something yg piece of cake. Imagine brapa banyak masa dan tenaga yg mamat ni korbankan untuk dapat that particular spot yg hampir satu dunia idamkan. Same goes to our very own local, Datuk Nicol David. Aku memang respect la dia sebab she's the very first asian women yg dpt achieve that world number 1 spot in women's squash.
See, being number 1 really pays. Siap dapat duit lg, besides korang buat benda yg korang suka. What i'm trying to say is, setiap org dlm dunia ni mesti ada satu impian, x kiralah nk jd engineer nombor 1 ke, nk jd doctor terbaik ke. Whatever it is, you guys need to keep pursuing your dreams, no matter what it takes. If you need to sacrifice something, then go ahead and do it. Never stop halfway. Jgn jd seorang LOSER yang stop bila dah x larat. It's all in your mind, bak kata pepatah, Nak Seribu Daya, Xnak Seribu Dalih.
Ada one example in real life situation yg aku bleh bg kat korang. Roommate aku msa kat KMB, Faqih Aqili nama dia.
Dia ni mmg pendakwah terbaik la yg aku kenal, and as i said earlier, being the best need sacrifices. Ada sekali tu aku, faqih ngan beberapa org member usrah tgh lepak kat cafe. Bila food kitorang dah smpai je, tiba2 azan isya' berkumandang. Kalau aku la, (and beberapa org yg lain), confirm hbiskan makanan dulu bru gi solat isya kan? Tp faqih x buat mcm tu. Bila azan habis je dia trus gi solat isya', leaving his food just like that. Nak tau kenapa?
" Since dia seorang pendakwah, apa benda yg dia buat menjadi contoh. In order to show good example, pengorbanan mesti dilakukan, x kiralah kecik or besar...."
Anyway, article ni sbenarnya aku buat sebab nk bg semangat kat aku sendiri. Hope you guys enjoy it. =)
p/s: Sorry faqih aku x bayar royalti..;)
